Anna Elizabeth "Betty" (Sult) Fundock, 91, formerly of Benton, died peacefully Tuesday evening, July 18th, 2017 at her home in Mifflinville, surrounded by her two daughters, Irene and Liz and her granddaughter, Jess and her husband, Michael. 

Born, March 15, 1926 in Town Hill, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence W. Sult and Alveda Matilda (Norquest) Sult.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Michael "Mike" Fundock, on October 12, 2004. 

Mrs. Fundock attended high school in Colonia, New Jersey and also attended the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School in New Jersey. She worked as a private duty nurse.

Her hobbies were ceramics, porcelain dolls, gardening, flowers, taking lots of pictures and fostering kittens.

Surviving are her nine children:  Elizabeth "Liz" Meehan, of Orangeville;

Catherine M. Everett and her husband, Alan, of Baytown, TX; John Fundock and his wife, Susan, of Bolton, CT; Dot Fundock, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Mike Fundock and his wife, Janet, of Cape Coral, FL; Nancy Fundock, of Stillwater; Irene Fundock, of Mifflinville; Tom Fundock, of Benton and Veronica "Ronnie" Fundock, of Berwick.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister, Helen Dougherty, of North Carolina.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert A. Sult and by a sister, Stella Esposito.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 A. M.  at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton, (S. R. 487).  Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick.  Viewing will be held Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 at McMichael's in Benton.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Animal Resource Center, 301 A Boone Road, Bloomsburg, PA 17815 or to a local animal rescue organization.
