Frances A. "Fran" (Nowak) Coppola, 73, of rural Stillwater, died Wednesday afternoon, August 23rd, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born October 25, 1943 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Tychka) Nowak.  She and her husband, Robert J. "Bob" Coppola, would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on August 29th.

She was a graduate of St. Hubert's High School in Philadelphia and also attended the Camden County Community College.  Mrs. Coppola worked as a certified clinical assistant in New Jersey for many years. 

Mrs. Coppola was a member of the Town Hill United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  Her hobbies included crafts, reading, quilting and needlepoint. 

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Bob, are her three children:  Jacqueline A. Morgan and her husband, David, of Berwick; Curtis M. Coppola and his wife, Theresa, of Stillwater; Sandra L. Rudzinski and her husband, Stephen, of Riverside, NJ; Also surviving are seven grandchildren:  Catrina, Ella, Ava, Tabatha, Stephen Jr., Juliana, and Anthony, as well as a brother, Alexander Nowak, Jr. and his wife, Gloria, of Philadelphia.

Private Services will be held Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 at 11 AM at the Town Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bethany P. Wood, her Pastor, officiating.  A Visitation will be held Saturday, September 2nd, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the Church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Town Hill United Methodist Church, 417 Town Hill Road, Shickshinny, PA 18655 or to the Geisinger Home Health and Hospice, 410 Glenn Avenue, Suite 200, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.   Arrangements are under the direction of the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton.  For online condolences or for additional information, please visit our website:  www.mcmichaelfuneralhome.com
