Joy M. (Yost) Mowery, 57, of Bloomsburg, died Tuesday afternoon, September 20th, 2016 at the home of her sister in Summerhill. 

Born November 13, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant Township, she was a daughter of the late William and Kathleen (Welliver) Yost.  She and her husband, Thomas E. Mowery, celebrated 32 years of marriage.

Joy had been employed by Dr. Gary Kanouse in Berwick for the past several years.  Prior to that she was the manager for Burger King in Buckhorn.

She attended Central Columbia High School and the McCann School of Business.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Tom, are a daughter, Susan Robinson and her husband, Caleb, of Bloomsburg; a son, Shawn Yost, of Lightstreet;  Also surviving are a grandson, Caleb Joseph "CJ" Robinson and two sisters:  Pamela Kline and Kathy Yost, both of Summerhill.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Yost.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 12 noon at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487).  Pastor Mike Delp will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Commonwealth Hospice of Berwick, 109 W. Ninth Street, Berwick, PA 18603.
