Larry E. Keller, 68, of Mifflinville and formerly of rural Orangeville, died Wednesday morning, February 8, 2017 at the Gardens at Orangeville, where he had been a resident for the past two years.

Born February 13, 1948 in Nanticoke, he was a son of Betty Jean (Cragle) Keller, of Orangeville and the late Earl F. Keller, who died July 14, 2008.  He and his wife, Jane (Sutter) Keller, would have celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on August 8th.

He was a graduate of Benton High School and faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army Reserves.  He had been employed by various companies including U. S. Steel, HRI, Don E. Bower, Inc., and Haddon Craftsmen.

Larry was a member of the Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Nescopeck. 

An avid outdoorsman and hunter, he also enjoyed gardening and playing cards with his family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are his daughter:  Mackenzie Keller, at home; a step son, Daniel Lusk and his companion, Bree Dawson, of Mifflinville; a step grandson, Tate Lusk; a brother, Randy A. Keller and his wife, Lynn, of Hummels Wharf; a sister, Darlia J. Sponenberg and her husband, Lewis "Bob", of Orangeville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 12th, 2017 at 2 P. M. at the  McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487) with the Rev. Jessica Kingsborough, officiating.  Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery.  Friends and relatives will be received Sunday from 12:30 PM until the time of the Service at 2 PM at McMichael's.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Memorial Fund of Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church, 801 E.
