Linda M. (Yocum) Learn, 64, of Volanski Road, Benton, died early Monday morning, May 1st, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born December 30, 1952 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, she was a daughter of Marjorie J. (Kimmel) Yocum, of Catawissa and the late Robert Yocum.  She and her husband, Neil R. Learn, would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on November 18th.

Linda was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School and the Harrisburg Polyclinic School of Nursing where she earned her R. N. degree and was awarded the Florence Nightingale Award. 

She had been employed by Bonham Nursing Center since the facility opened until she retired in 2014.  She had been director of nursing and also served as administrator at Bonham's. 

Linda was a very active member of Calvary Bible Chapel where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and Junior Church.  She also sang in the church choir  and was involved in the cantata's and was a member of the women's prayer circle.

Her hobbies included crocheting, gardening, planting flowers, camping and spending time with her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and her mother are her twin sons:  Justin P. Learn and his wife, Karen, of Benton; Jered P. Learn, of Catawissa; two grandchildren;  Logan M. Wiepa and Kassidy R. Learn.  Also surviving are two sisters:  Darlene Zimmerman and Melody Kremser, both of Catawissa as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Snyder on December 14, 2000. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 5th, 2017 at 10 AM at the Calvary Bible Chapel, 362 Hunlock-Harveyville Road, Hunlock Creek, with Pastor Neil S. Martin, her Pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in the Cambra Cemetery.  A Viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Church and also from 9:30 AM until the time of the Service on Friday morning.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Your Loving Choices, 904 Market Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., Benton.  For online condolences or for additional information, please visit our website:  www.mcmichaelfuneralhome.com
