Mary K. (Remley) Jones, 84, of Buffalo, Wyoming and a native of the Benton area, died early Monday morning, February 13, 2017 at the Aime Holt Care Center in Buffalo, Wyoming. 

Born May 13, 1932 in Divide (Jackson Township) she was a daughter of the late Elvin and Esther (Miller) Remley.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Jones on September 22, 1971. 

She attended school in Divide and then was a 1950 graduate of Benton High School.  She later graduated from Wilkes-Barre Business College where she met her future husband, Edward H. Jones, whom she married on May 23, 1953 in Divide.  They made their home in Youngstown, Ohio where she worked as a bookkeeper for many years.  In 1984 she moved to Broomfield to be near her son and grandchildren for several years.   Following her retirement she moved to Bloomsburg to be near her sister and other family.  In 2006, she moved to Buffalo, Wyoming to be near her daughter and her family.

She attended the Buffalo Wesleyan Church and her faith in God was most important to her.  She was an inspiration to all that knew her.  She loved flowers, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her son, Tim Jones, of Goshen, Indiana; a daughter, Kelly Booth and her husband, Mark, of Buffalo, Wyoming; a sister, Lois Remley Rhinard Stere, of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren:  Cody Jones (Leslie); Jason Jones (Carol Coupons) and Caila, Hunter and Jackson Booth as well as four great grandchildren:  Alyssah, Alex, Addyson and Aden.  Also surviving are three sister-in-laws:  Betty Remley, Carolyn Remley and Marian Remley, all of Benton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings:  Jean Becker, Edward Remley, Herbert Remley, E. Lee Remley and Carl D. Remley. 

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 20th, 2017 at 3:00 P. M. at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487) with Pastor Scott L.
