Nancy Jean (Hughes) Harrison, 76, of Shannon Hill Road, Benton, died Saturday evening, December 23, 2017 at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital Emergency Room.

Born September 23, 1941 in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late John F. Hughes, Sr., who died February 11, 1972 and Lola Jean (Hartman) Hughes Wanich, who died on July 10, 2009.

A 1960 graduate of Benton High School, she had been employed by Textron in Danville for many years, retiring in 1996.

She loved roller skating as a youngster and later ultra-lite flying.  She always enjoyed sports.

Surviving, are her sister, Sharon E. Swisher and her husband, Charles C. Jr., of Unityville; as well as a nephew, Charles C. Swisher, III. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John F. Hughes, Jr., on December 17, 1997 and by her step father, William P. "Bill" Wanich on January 24, 2006.   

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at 11A. M. at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4934 Red Rock Road, Benton (S.
