Ruth (Mulville) Candy, 68, of Benton, died Wednesday morning, November 22, 2017 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born, April 6, 1949 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Ruth (Boucot) Mulville. She and her husband, Stephen J. Candy, would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Candy was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School in Gloucester, NJ. She also attended Camden County College where she earned her degree as a registered dental assistant/certified dental assistant.
She worked as a dental assistant for 25 years in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Mrs. Candy was a member of Holy Spirit Parish/St. Martha's Church, Fairmount Springs.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and in her younger years did ceramics.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Stephen, are her two children; Donal L. Candy, of Spring Hill, Florida; Joy Ann Blasick and her husband, Mike, of Benton; four grandchildren: John James Candy, Kaylee Grace Blasick, Jacob Joseph Candy and Emily Anne Blasick.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Mulville, in 1984.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at 11 AM at Holy Spirit Parish/St. Martha's Church, 260 Bonnieville Road, Stillwater, with Father Louis T. Kaminski, her Pastor, as Celebrant. A Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the funeral mass at the Church.
