Steve Allen Edwards, 66, of Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born December 6, 1951 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Nevin L. and Marjorie A. (Cox) Edwards. He and his wife, Betty L. (Shultz) Edwards, would have celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on May 25th.
Mr. Edwards was a 1969 graduate of Central Columbia High School. He worked as a truck driver and was employed by Clair Hock, J. B. Hunt and had last worked for Gilbert Express until his retirement.
He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the Bloomsburg Moose, Elks and the Sons of the American Legion. He was also a life member of the Espy Fire Company.
Mr. Edwards enjoyed camping, cooking and hosting family get-togethers.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Betty, are three step sons; two sisters: Linda K. Kessler, Bloomsburg and Sandra D. Morgan, of Trout Run. Also surviving are two nephews: Allen L. Kessler and Brian P. Kessler, both of Bloomsburg and numerous cousins. Also surviving is a very special aunt, Arlene Hartman.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Susan K. Knorr, officiating. Burial will be in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
