Susan O. (Mishak) Zloch, 86,  formerly of Florida, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Emmanuel Center for Nursing in Danville. 

Born May 3, 1931 in Nesquehoning, Carbon County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Mishak.  She was preceded by her husband, John Zloch of 56 years, on August 30, 2006.

Mrs. Zloch had been employed as director of purchasing at Johnson and Wales College in Rhode Island, years ago.

Surviving are her three daughters:  Suzanne Difillipo, of Wyndmoor, PA; Bettyanne  "Betsy" Hartman, of Benton; Penny Ray, of St. Petersburg, FL and a son, John Zloch of Tampa, FL.  Also surviving are four grandchildren:  Sarah Delachapelle, Melissa Doucette, Holly Kishbaugh, and Michael Ray; seven great grandchildren:  Chloe, Lacey, Rylan, Selena, Maddie, Xavier and Justin; a sister, Amy Bosch, of Copaigue, NY.

In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ann.

Services will be held Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487) with Pastor Matthew Verstraeten of the Benton United Methodist Church, officiating.  Private burial will be in the Protestant Slovak Cemetery in Nesquehoning.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA  22215.
