Catherine (Feckete) Mancini

Catherine (Feckete) Mancini, 68, of Orangeville, died early Wednesday morning, March 6, 2019 at the Gardens at Orangeville.

Born August 5, 1950 in Manhattan, New York, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Koster) Feckete.

She was a 1968 graduate of the East Meadow High School in New York and was employed by the Wise Potato Chip Company of Berwick for 15 years as well as the payroll clerk for Orangeville Boro for many years.  She had moved to Columbia County in 1994.

Catherine was a member of the Orangeville Library.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Michele R. Mancini and her fiancée, Dave Kelly, of Benton; two grandchildren:  Samantha and Austin Brock; her siblings:  Steve Feckete, Indiana; William Feckete, Indiana; Joan Feckete, of Indiana;  Susan Pezzano, of New Jersey and Patricia Russo, of Danville.  Also are her close friends, Frank and Melissa Vaughn and their children:  Emma, Ethan and Bailee, of Benton.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Feckete.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487) with Pastor Mike Delp, officiating.  Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Orangeville.  A Viewing will be held Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 at McMichael’s.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Columbia County Unit, 1948 E.
