Donald C. Stauffer, 74, of Winter Haven, Florida, and formerly of the Benton area, died Monday, August 7th, 2017 at the Winter Haven Hospital in Florida.

Born May 3, 1943, he was a son of the late Robert S. Stauffer, Sr., who died December 21, 2004 and Ramona (Rought) Stauffer, who died April 27, 1997. 

Mr. Stauffer was a graduate of Benton High School and Williamsport Area Community College.  He was employed as a welding inspector and a mechanical engineer.

Surviving are his two children:  Curt Stauffer and Erica Campbell; four grandchildren, and a brother, Robert S. Stauffer, Jr., and his wife, Janet, of Benton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers:  David F. Stauffer and William A. Stauffer.
