Eugene W. "Bing" Nugent, 76, of Cambra, died Friday evening, April 14, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. 

Born July 5, 1940 in Bryn Mawr, he was a son of the late Eugene B. and Edith (Winthrop) Nugent.  He and his wife, Nora (Coe) Nugent, would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10th.

Mr. Nugent was a graduate of West Chester University where he earned his Bachelor's degree and the University of Cincinnati, where he earned his Master's degree.

He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Air Force.  He was employed by the Luzerne County Area on Agency as a health planner.

His hobbies included photography and he was also known as a history buff.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Nora, are a sister, Martha Flagg, of Devon, PA.

A Viewing will be held Friday, April 21st, 2017 at 11 AM at McMichael Funeral Home with a brief service to follow with Pastor Robert K. Andrews officiating.  Private burial will be at the convenience of the Family.
