Frank T. Rhone

Frank T. Rhone, 54, of Jonestown, died Thursday morning, May 23, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded with love and his family.

Born November 10, 1964, he was a son of Butch and Juanita Rhone, of Jonestown.  He and his wife, Tammy D. (McHenry) Rhone, celebrated their 30th  wedding anniversary on May 13th. 

Frank attended Benton Schools and graduated from Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School.  He was employed by ConAgra Foods, in Milton for nearly 30 years. 

He was a member of Stillwater Christian Church and a member of Laurel Ridge Hunting Club.  

Frank was a great man that lived for the great moments with friends and family.  He was able to create and build anything anyone dreamt up and more.  

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and Benton Wrestling, especially the hours spent with his buddies at coaches meetings.

At any moment spent with Frank he often told stories about the life of adventures he shared with his brother and best friend, "Big Mike"…"Hell of a life we've lived Woodrow".

Frank loved his mom and the time spent in the trapping shed with his dad.  He would have given his wife the world if he could.  He lit up with happiness to make Tammy happy.

Most of all his biggest pride and accomplishment was his two sons.  Frank not only enjoyed watching both boys on the mats but just enjoyed spending time with them.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fox Chase, Bloomsburg and Geisinger Hospitals as well as their many friends and co-workers at ConAgra Foods and The Gardens at Orangeville.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents are his two sons:  Michael T. and Cole H. Rhone, of Jonestown; a brother, Michael F. Rhone and his wife, Suncha, of Benton; a niece, Heidi Stempien and her husband, Brian; a great nephew and a great niece, Chance and Lena Stempien, of Sweet Valley.

The Family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Frank that will be held at a date to be announced.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank's memory to Benton Wrestling Booster Club, c/o Josh Morrow, 2795 Rt. 239 Highway, Benton, PA 17814.   Arrangements are under the direction of the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., Benton.
