IVAN D. KISHBAUGH
Ivan D. Kishbaugh, 86, of rural Stillwater (Fishing Creek Township), died
late Thursday evening, November 8, 2018 at the Berwick Retirement
Village I, where he had been a resident for the past several weeks.
Born November 21, 1931 in Jonestown, Fishing Creek Township, he was a
son of the late Orval and Bessie (Hess) Kishbaugh. He and his wife,
Margaret I. (Gotoweski) Kishbaugh, celebrated their 63rd wedding
anniversary on August 13th.
Mr. Kishbaugh attended Benton High School and had been employed as a
weaver at Magee Carpet Company in Bloomsburg for more than 30 years.
He later worked for the Wise Potato Chip Company of Berwick where he
retired from in 1994.
He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army. He attended the
Jonestown United Methodist Church in his youth. He was a member of the
V. F. W. and the American Legion and enjoyed playing cards.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Margaret, are his five children; Sharon
and her husband, Jim Walters, of Central; Ron Kishbaugh and his wife,
Barbara, of Shickshinny; Mike Kishbaugh and his wife, Marsha, of
Montrose, Colorado; Denise Kocher and her husband, Brian, of Benton;
Richard Kishbaugh and his wife, Heather, of Bloomsburg; eleven
grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was the last of his immediate family being preceded in death by ten
siblings.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
