Under her direction as my supervisor I was taught real compassion for others and how to empathize with the population we worked with. My deepest sympathy to Mariann's family. I treasured Mariann's friendship during our working years with the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation and over the past years after our retirement. She was a kindhearted and caring person who went out of her way to help others and I know she was always there for her mother and nieces and nephews. I am sad her retirement was so short, she was deserving of so much more. I know she will be missed by her family, her friends and all the facilities that she gave of her time.
