Mary E. (Welch) Saienni, 69, of rural Stillwater (Benton Township), died at her home Tuesday afternoon, December 3, 2019.
Born February 3, 1950 in Monongahela, PA, she was a daughter of the late William F. Welch, who died October 16, 1990 and Isabel (Rodriguez) Welch, who died July 4, 2006. She and her husband, Robert C. "Bob" Saienni, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 26th.
Mary was a graduate of Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, PA. She had been employed by Milco Industries in Benton and Millville.
She was a member of the Stillwater Christian Church. She was a life member of Fort Ricketts Post 8317 V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary of Benton as well as the Millville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Her hobbies included sewing and crocheting.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Bob, are her two children: Robert William Saienni and his wife, Lisa, of Maryland; Mary LeValley and her husband, Michael, of Stillwater; five grandchildren: Kieran, Aiden, Kendall, Rylee and Abbi. Also surviving are her twin sister, Isabel Saienni and her husband, Joseph; and a sister, Vicky A. Mitchell and her husband, George, of Stillwater.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at 11 A. M. at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487) with Pastor Scott L. Lyons, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. A Viewing will be held Friday from 5 to 7 PM at McMichael's.
