Patricia Cherry (Maxwell) Langenbach, 74, of Benton, died on Tuesday evening, August 8, 2017 at her home under the care of Geisinger Home Health & Hospice.   

      Born February 27, 1943 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Peden) Maxwell.

     Mrs. Langenbach was employed as the National Accounting Manager for Casio America in Fairfield, NJ for over ten years.  She was also employed as the Financial Officer of General Communications for six years, and was also the co-founder of both the Langenbach Garden & Tool catalog and the Langenbach Vineyards and Winery both in New Jersey.  

     Locally she founded the Friendship Book Club in Benton.  She was a member of the Jubilee Choir in Bloomsburg where she served as financial manger and a member of the Benton Garden Club.  She loved spending time in her garden and caring for all of her animals.  She loved sharing her love of music with her beautiful voice while playing the piano and the organ.

      She will be greatly missed by her husband of 38 years Paul Langenbach and her four step-daughters: Debra Langenbach, Brick Twp., NJ, Donna Dalgewicz and husband, Ed, of Manchester, VT, Denise Caccavale and husband, George, of Blairstown, NJ, and Paula Langenbach of Marlton, NJ, seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and her sister: Denise Acheson and husband, Michael, of Northern Ireland.

     A celebration of Patricia's life will be held on Thursday, August 17, at 11:00 A.M.at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc. 4394 Red Rock Road in Benton with Rev. Alfred P. Sceski, officiating.
