Paula S. (Brown) Deeter, 63, of rural Benton (Sugarloaf Township) died early Sunday morning, December 1, 2019 at her home.
Born February 25, 1956 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Roberta (Smith) Brown.
Paula was a 1974 graduate of Benton High School. She had been employed by Berkheimer Associates in Berwick for 38 years prior to her retirement.
She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Central where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and served on various committees.
Her hobbies included reading, fishing, watching and feeding the birds, spending time with family, family shopping excursions and gardening. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.
Surviving, are her husband, John A. Deeter; two sisters: Linda J. Long and her husband, Clark, of Bloomsburg and Pamela M. Vincent, Benton. Also surviving are two nephews: Derek and Jason; a great niece, Josie as well as her Aunts: Pat Smith Moss, of Benton; Myrtle Morgan, of Gillett and Wilma "Billie" Brown, of Lakeside, CA.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis L. Brown, on May 12, 2017.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 9th, 2019 at 12 Noon at Christ United Methodist Church, 940 Central Road, Benton, with the Rev. Howard W. Leh, her Pastor, officiating. Private burial will be in the Fallow Brook Cemetery, Sugarloaf Township. A Visitation will be held Monday from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 12 Noon at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Christ United Methodist Church, c/o Rev. Howard W. Leh, 605 Camp Lavigne Road, Benton, PA 17814.
