Peter Paul Wallace, Jr., of St. Gabriel's Road, Benton, died Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at his home following an illness of one year.
Born November 13, 1950 in Edwardsville, he was a son of the late Peter Paul Wallace, Sr. and Catherine (Curley) Wallace.
He was a graduate of West Side Tech High School and faithfully served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Wallace was a site superintendent for Environmental Remediation and was last employed by U. R. S. Corp until his retirement in 2009.
He was a member of the NHRA, the American Legion and the V. F. W.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing cars.
Surviving are his wife, Connie Scimeca Wallace; four children: Angie Evans Coolbaugh of Wilkes-Barre; John M. Volansky and his wife, Tanya, of Cambra; Jolyn Wallace, of Dallas; and Bernadette Wallace, of Benton; fifteen grandchildren and five sisters: Margaret Mooney; Dolores Gattuso; Kathleen Regan and her husband, Thomas; Maryion Wallace and Betsy Regan and her husband Butch.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Peter Paul Wallace, III on January 15, 2011.
Funeral Services and Military Honors will be held Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 at 10:30 A. M. at the Raven Creek Presbyterian Church, 993 Upper Raven Creek Road, Benton with the Rev. O. Allen Lumpkin, officiating. A Viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Benton Council of Churches, P. O. Box 285, Benton, PA 17814.
