Ray E. Hunter, Sr., 65, of East Fourth Street, Bloomsburg, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home.
Born October 30, 1953 in Berwick he was a son of the late Robert W. and Clara J. (Mowery) Hunter.
Ray attended Wyalusing Schools and had been employed by Dillon Floral and Streater's Greenhouses.
He was a member of the Danville Moose Lodge, the Berwick V. F. W. and the Berwick Ukrainian Club.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his companion of 30 years, Penny J. Evans; three children: Deborah, Ray Jr., and Robert; a brother, Kenneth Hunter and his wife, Connie, of Unityville; two sisters: Judy Fenstermacher and her husband, Larry, of Jonestown; Shirley Wagner and her husband, Dennis, of Nescopeck and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by the following siblings: Gloria Hunter, Jack Mowery, Mary Fenstermacher, Jonah Hunter and Howard Hunter.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Mooseheart, 155 S. International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539.
