Rosemary A. (Ramakus) Horn, 85, of Old Tioga Turnpike, Benton, died late Friday evening, September 6, 2019 at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville, where she had been a resident for the past week.
Born May 22, 1934 in Inkerman, Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Ramakus. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John J. Horn, on May 26, 2015.
She was a graduate of Jenkins Township Grammar and High School. Mrs. Horn enjoyed being a homemaker and was known as a loving grandmother to her two grandchildren.
Mrs. Horn was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church of Benton.
She is survived by her three sons: John J. Horn, of Benton; Charles Horn and his wife, Deborah, of West Milford, New Jersey; Kenneth Horn of Sutton, Massachusetts and her two grandchildren: Matthew and Emily Horn.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William Ramakus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 13th, 2019 at 11 A. M. at Christ The King Church, 300 Mendenhall Lane, Benton, with Father Olusola Adewole and Father Richard Mowery, as Celebrants. Burial will be in St. Martha's Cemetery, Fairmount Springs.
