Shirley L. (Clark) Driber

Shirley L. (Clark) Driber, 80, of Benton, died early Saturday morning, June 1st, 2019 at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital.

Born October 15, 1938 in Bismarck, North Dakota, she was a daughter of the late Lemuel Lee and Theresa Irene (Couch) Jarnigan.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Driber, Jr., of 39 years, on August 8th, 2013.

Shirley had last worked for the Buckhorn Econo Lodge.  While living in New Jersey she was employed by Holiday Inn, where she had worked for 25 years.

Surviving are seven children:  Lee Burtts and his wife, Joyce, of Clifton, NJ; Sylvia McCaskey and her husband, Dennis, of Great Falls, Montana; Patti Freeman, of Benton; Brenda Burtts, of Benton; Theresa Faldet and her husband, Craig, of Bonnie Lake, Washington;  Kelly Duvall and her husband, Tracey, of Yelm, Washington;  and Edward L. Driber, III and his wife, Alice, of East Stroudsburg. 

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and a sister, Jeanette Hamilton, of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James D. Clark.
