Steven J. Swigart

Steven J. Swigart, 60, of S. R. 254, Orangeville, died suddenly early Monday morning, March 4th, 2019 at his home.

Born, March 21, 1958, he was a son of the late William W. "Bill" Swigart, who died June 12, 1987 and Hazel D. (Cole) Swigart, who died April 6, 2006.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Rodney W. Swigart, Sr. on July 12, 2005.

Steve attended Benton High School and was employed by the Gardens at Orangeville Nursing Home.

He loved mowing lawn and doing lawn work and flying drones.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Bella.

Surviving are his two sons:  John S. Swigart and his wife, Beth, of Benton and Andrew L. Swigart, also of Benton; three grandchildren;  Dylan, Jarrod and Colin; his siblings:  Dotty A. Wilson and her husband, George, of Benton; Deborah L. Schumacher, of Starke, Florida;  Bernadine K. Houseweart, of Orangeville; Ricky L. Swigart and his wife, Jayne, of Millville; Roxie J. Santos, of Orangeville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Thursday, March 7th, 2019, at 2 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487) with Pastor Scott L.
