Susan (Krouse) Gage

Susan (Krouse) Gage, 71, of Bloomsburg, died Thursday, April 25th, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born January 27, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late  

John P. and Kay (Lambert) Krouse.  She and her husband, Robert A. "Bob"    Gage, would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 13th.

Mrs. Gage was a 1969 graduate of Mansfield University and earned her

R. N. degree from Geisinger Medical Center's School of Nursing in 1985.

She had worked as an R. N. for Geisinger for 20 years following her graduation from Nursing School.

She was a member of St. Columba Church in Bloomsburg.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was known as the "professional grandmother".

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Bob, are her three sons:

Michael Gage and his wife, Chandreyee Das, of Arlington, Mass., Justin Gage and his wife, Laura, of Lawrence, NJ; Nathan Gage and his wife, Susan, of Wellsboro.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and a sister, Caroline Hasenfus, of Atlanta, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the Rehoboth Cemetery, Clarion, PA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Geisinger Hospice,
