Woodrow O. "Woody" Davis, 68, of Orangeville, died Saturday evening, February 16th, 2019 at the Bonham Nursing Center, Stillwater where he had been a resident for the past two months.
Born August 2, 1950 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was a son of the late William Albert Davis and Norma E. (Wilson) Davis.
Mr. Davis was a graduate of Benton High School and then worked as a truck driver/heavy equipment operator. He had last worked for L & K Mills of Benton and previously had worked for Sokol, Inc., Bower Construction and Orangeville Manufacturing.
An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting.
Surviving, are his wife, Brenda J. (Miller) Davis, whom he married on September 11, 2016; two daughters, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Robert P. Davis, of Berwick; three sisters: Clara Paden, Berwick; Norma Jones, Berwick; Helena Fisher, of Espy, numerous nieces and nephews; numerous stepchildren including: Harold Morris, of Benton; Brian Morris, of Plymouth and Amy Raught, of Bloomsburg and 7 step grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Ann Marie (Titus) Bowman Davis on December 10, 2014; a sister, Marian; three half brothers: Boyd and Fred Davis and John Brindle.
