Andrea J. (Taylor) Meek

Andrea J. (Taylor) Meek, 52, of rural Benton (Jordan Township), Lycoming County, died Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at her home.

Born July 15, 1970 in Dover, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Evan Taylor, who died July 1, 2010 and Jane A. (Suydam) Taylor, who died April 7, 2016. 

Andrea was a 1988 graduate of Hughesville High School.  She worked at the Red Rock Job Corps as a property coordinator.

She was a member of the Mildred American Legion Auxiliary. Andrea enjoyed socializing with friends and shooting darts and pool.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved granddaughter, Andrea.

Surviving are her daughter, Ashley E. Shovelin, of Benton; a granddaughter, Andrea A. Shovelin; her long time friend, Diana Hess.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 14th, 2022 at 12 Noon at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487), with Pastor Scott L. Lyons, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating.  Private burial will be in the Waller Cemetery.  Friends and relatives will be received Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at noon at McMichael's.
