Angeline "Sandy" (Corrigan) Norton

Angeline S. "Sandy" (Corrigan) Norton, 81, of Stillwater, (New Columbus Borough), previously of Wilkes-Barre, passed away early Saturday morning, July 4, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born March 11, 1945 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late James and Angeline (Slezak) Corrigan. 

She and her husband, Charles Norton, were married in Luzerne County on March 11, 1967.

She was formerly employed by Prestige Shoes, of Wilkes-Barre.  She also babysat numerous children over the years as well as being a homemaker.

Sandy enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.  Christmas was especially special to her.  Sandy would have her family over for dinner and that really made her happy.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She will be missed by everyone that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; a son, Charles J. Norton, a daughter, Michelle Kunkle; brothers:  James "Butch" Corrigan; Frank Corrigan and a by a sister-in-law, Roseanne Corrigan.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Lisa Natishan and her fiancée, Michael Clarke, of Stillwater; brothers:  Joseph Corrigan, Rick Corrigan, Ron  Corrigan and his wife, Cathy; and Eugene Corrigan; sisters:  Margaret Serafin and her husband, David; Patricia Norton and her husband, Daniel;  sister-in-law, Sharon Corrigan that she thought of more like a sister to her.  Her grandchildren were:  Jessica Kunkle, Michael Kunkle and his fiancé, Samantha Evarts; Jodie Norton-Robinson and her husband, Christopher; Ethan Natishan and Jared Davis; great grandsons:  Aiden Metzger and Carter Burke as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Private Services will be held at the  convenience of the Family.
