Barbara Jean "Barbie" Lynn, 41, of Williamsport and formerly of Benton, died Monday, October 20, 2025 at her home following a long battle with diabetes.
Born May 7, 1984 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, she was a daughter of Jeffrey E. and Lenora C. (Nagy) Lynn, of Berwick.
Barbie was a 2003 graduate of Benton High School.
She was a member of Stillwater Christian Church.
Her hobbies were collecting dolphins and ATV riding.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, Jeffrey and Lenora, are her husband, Chad M. Mounts; a sister, Jessica M. Morris and her husband, William, of Benton; two brothers: Jeffrey E. Lynn, Jr. and his wife, Katie, of Shickshinny; Ryan J. Lynn and his fiancée, Rayanne Travelpiece, of Orangeville; paternal grandmother, Jacqueline E. (Lindaman) Lynn, of Bloomsburg; step sons: Sean and Gage; step grandchildren: Carson, Waylen, Braxton, Lonnie, and Oakland. Also surviving are eleven nieces and nephews: Anna, Hunter, Abbi, Kensi, Gavin, Neaveah, Kylynn, Laela, Makenna, Greyson and Maddie.
Preceding Barbie in death were her paternal grandfather, Carl A. Lynn; maternal grandparents: Andrew W. and Evelyn J. (Burket) Nagy and an uncle, Scott A. Lynn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11 AM at the Stillwater Christian Church, 39 McMichael Street, Stillwater with Pastors Chris Mulpas and Scott Lyons, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11:00. Private burial will be in the Stillwater Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
