Beverly Bayne (Sassaman) Hampton

Beverly Bayne (Sassaman) Hampton, 95, of Danville, died early Wednesday morning, December 28th, 2022 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville. 

Born September 28, 1927 in Catawissa, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Edith (Yohey) Sassaman.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Hampton, Sr., on November 28, 2003.

Mrs. Hampton attended Catawissa Schools.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and reading.

Surviving are her three children:  Lloyd E. Hampton, Jr., and his wife, Sue, of Penn Yan, New York; Linda Andreacci, of Danville; David R. Hampton and his partner, Kay Stanton, of Benton.  Also  surviving are her nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and  nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alana Clark; a grandson, Jonathan Welsh sisters:  Emma, Leatrice "Butch", and by a brother, Clarence "Pot".
