Carol J. (Peterman) Wolfe 73, of Jonestown, died late Friday evening, January 3, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born March 15, 1951 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Ralph A. Peterman Sr. and Doris J. (Knorr) Peterman.
Carol was a 1969 graduate of Benton High School. She had been employed by CJ's Gas Station in Shickshinny; Bercon Industries in Berwick; the Benton Dollar General and Uni Mart. She was last employed by Aramark at Bloomsburg University, where she had worked for the last seven years.
She was a member of the Benton Rodeo Association and the Columbia County Covered Bridges Association.
Her hobbies included camping, NASCAR racing, hunting and fishing, but she especially enjoyed the annual Benton Rodeo each summer.
Surviving are her daughter, Bobbi Jean Canouse and her husband, Jacob, of Jonestown; two grandchildren: Codey Canouse and Lily Canouse, both of Jonestown; two brothers: Ralph A. "Sonny" Peterman, Jr., of Benton; Russell Peterman and his wife, Deb, of Frostproof, Florida and by a sister, Clara Bowman and her husband, Howard, of Benton.
Along with her Parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Wolfe on November 19, 2008.
Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date at the Jonestown Cemetery at the convenience of the Family. The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Wolfe family.
