Charles “Chuck” Colon, 62, of Benton, formerly of Vineland, NJ, died suddenly Saturday, April 5, 2025 at his home.
Born in Vineland, NJ on August 27, 1962, he was a son to the late Victor Colon, Sr. and the late Stella (Sumptner) Joslin.
Chuck attended Vineland Area Schools. He would go on to work for the City of Vineland for 17 years in several capacities, most recently as a water repair operator. Chuck was a firm believer in Our Lord Jesus Christ. He attended weekly services at Raven Creek Presbyterian Church. He loved his Church, community and mostly his family. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a talented wood carver. Chuck loved walking through the woods with his dog, Tickle.
Surviving Chuck is his beloved soulmate and partner of 41 years, Lillian Dreyer. He is also survived by step-children: Dana Dreyer of Marion, IN and Brandy Costanzo of Vineland, NJ; grandchildren: Kahley Dreyer, Timothy Hill, Dametreus Hill, Shanya Durham, David Hill, Breanna Costanzo, Dennis Costanzo, Jr., Faith Costanzo, Matthew Costanzo, and Jewel Jones; great-grandchildren: Jayce Rosario, Aaries Rosario, Alana Hernandez, Naylani Hernandez, and Roman Costanzo; siblings: Larry Colon, Victor Colon, Jr., Kenneth Colon, Kathy Gordon, Francine Rosario and Mary Rambone; step-siblings: Doug Joslin, Brian Joslin, Kevin Joslin, Bobby Joslin, David Joslin, Eddie Joslin, and Diane Joslin; and daughter, Gina Colon.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Colon.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Raven Creek Presbyterian Church, 993 Upper Raven Creek Road, Benton, PA 17814. Reverend Ronald Turner will officiate. Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM. Interment at Raven Creek Cemetery will follow.
