Charles E."Chuck" Creveling, of Benton Township, died on his 54th birthday on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born October 23, 1969 in Lansdale, Montgomery County, he was a son of H. Elaine (Krewson) Creveling, of Stillwater and the late Curtis E. Creveling, who died June 11, 2023. He and his wife, Billie Jo (Allegar) Creveling, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on May 29th.
Chuck was a 1988 graduate of Benton High School. Following his high school graduation he worked for E. Lee Remley Construction, of Benton and then Zane Parker Construction of Berwick. In 2001, he started his own company, Charles E. Creveling Construction. He also worked with his brother, Sam, at Sammy's Christmas Trees in Dresher, PA.
He was a member of the Waller United Methodist Church and was the representative for the Church Parsonage committee.
Chuck was a member of the PA State Snowmobile Association and the Heckman Hunting Club. He was also an alumni of the Columbia County 4-H Club. He loved to work, farm, snowmobile, golf and cut wood. He was a former member of the Tuesday and Wednesday night Golf League at Mill Race Golf Course in Benton. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Chuck and his wife loved to travel, especially on cruises, visiting 35 countries.
Along with his mother, Elaine, and his wife, Billie Jo, he is survived by a brother, Samuel E. Creveling and his wife, Laurie, of Stillwater; sisters: Diane Smith and her husband, Terrance, of Warwick, PA; Deborah Wyman and her husband, Roland, of Washington, NC; Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chad C. Creveling, on November 28, 1999; a sister, Brenda Lee Creveling on January 21, 1959 and his Father-in-Law, William "Bill" Allegar, on January 28, 2013.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 30th, 2023 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Rev. Paul S. Moseley, Bible Baptist Church, of Benton, officiating. A viewing will be held Sunday from 3 to 7 PM at McMichael's and Monday morning from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 11. Burial will be in the Waller Cemetery, Jackson Township.
