Charles S. "Nick" Lynn, 78, died early Wednesday morning, June 3, 2020 at his home, with his wife by his side, following a lengthy illness.
Born July 3, 1941 in Nescopeck, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Dora Jane (Smith) Lynn. He and his wife, Jean K. (Hower) Lynn, celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on May 15th.
Mr. Lynn was a 1960 graduate of Berwick High School and had been employed by Wise Foods, Inc., of Berwick for 43 years, retiring in 2003.
He was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church of Berwick and had been a member of the Young Adult Class years ago. He was also a former member of the Berwick Archery Club.
His hobbies included bowling, archery, fishing and NASCAR.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Jean, are his two children: Charles E. Lynn and his wife, Sonya, of Anthem, Arizona; Michelle A. Schultz and her husband, Andrew, of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren: Cooper and Delaney Lynn; Nathaniel, Jacob, Nicholas and Samuel Schultz; and a sister, Sally Kaye Brown, of Havertown, PA as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by the following siblings: Metta Ent, Jay Lynn, Joyce Lynn, Clara Pettit, Norma White, Dale Lynn and Drue Lynn.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, June 27th, 2020 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 1135 Orange Street, Berwick. His service will begin at 10:30 AM at the Church with Pastor Max Sitler, officiating.
