Clinton D. Hittle, 55, of Trout Run and formerly of Benton, passed away on March 12, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Clinton was born February 6, 1971 in Bloomsburg, son of Josephine Ann (Snyder) Hittle and the late Kenneth Wayne Hittle.
Clinton graduated from Benton High School and went on to earn his bachelors degree from Bloomsburg University. He worked as a Hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey for 29 years. Clinton enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time in Canada with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Debiak) Hittle; his daughter, Catherine Hittle; his mother, Josephine (Snyder) Hittle of Bloomsburg; brothers, Audie and his wife Karina of Aldie, VA, Monty and his wife Willow of Bloomsburg, Darby and his wife Dawn of Clinton, CT; brother-in-law, Mark Beishline of Stillwater; and nephew, Justin Beishline along with many nieces and nephews.
Clinton is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wayne Hittle and his sister, Lou Jean Beishline.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
