Daniel J. Hartman

Daniel J. Hartman, 35, of Jackson Township, died Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2025 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Jackson Township.

Born November 12, 1989 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was a son of Susan B. (Conner) Hartman, of Benton and the late James K. "Jim" Hartman, who died on December 18, 2009.

Daniel was a 2008 graduate of Benton High School and attended Bloomsburg University.  He had been employed in food service during his working career.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, Susan, are his brothers:  Brandon J. Hartman, of Benton; Joe Hartman and his wife Candey, of Benton; grandmother, Gloria (Vansock) Klinger, of Benton; and his grandfather, Thomas H. Conner, also of Benton.

In addition to his father, Jim, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents:  Robert and Theresa (Yost) Hartman; Uncles: Daniel T. Conner, J. Nevin Hartman and Robert Hartman.
