Donald W. Blossom

Donald W. Blossom, 85, of Benton, died early Tuesday morning, August 30th, 2022 at his home.

Born December 7, 1936 in Elmira, New York, he was a son of the late Stuart V. and Dorothy (Pearson) Blossom.

Donald was a graduate of Elmira High School, Elmira, New York.  He had been employed by various factories in the area including ARGO, Poloron and Bernardi Foods.

He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1956 to 1960.

Donald had been a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Nescopeck.

His hobbies included fishing and woodworking, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his three children:  David Wayne; Donna Jean Dressler; and Steven McGee and his wife, Gayle.  Also surviving are six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother:  Shirley, Lorraine and Stewart.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
