Douglas C. "Doug" Albertson

Douglas C. "Doug" Albertson, 67, of rural Orangeville, (Fishing Creek Township) died Saturday evening, August 12, 2023 at his home.

Born November 11, 1955 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was a son of the late Reuben Albertson, who died October 9, 2012 and Pauline R. (Mills) Albertson, who died April 19, 2020.  

Doug attended Benton High School and worked in the paving business for most of his life.  He was last employed by HRI.

He was a life member of the NRA and was an avid outdoorsman.  He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, being a mechanic and tinkering. 

Surviving are his two children:  Jamie L. Albertson, Orangeville; Stacy L. Matthews and her husband, Tracy, of Wilkes-Barre; four grandchildren:  Christopher Matthews, Brandy Albertson, Eric Albertson, and Dayna Albertson.  Also surviving are his siblings:  Dennis Albertson and his wife, Susan, of Orangeville; David Albertson and his wife, Roberta Jean, of Orangeville; Deborah Schildt and her husband, Robert, of Mahaffey, PA; Donna Hall and her husband, Michael, of Lewes, Delaware; Darla Moore, of Orangeville; Dane Albertson, Orangeville; Denise Hess and her husband, Scott, of Orangeville and Dean Albertson, of Orangeville as well as numerous nieces and  nephews.

At the request of  the deceased, no public services will be held.
