Eleanor Ruth (Fausey) Drabot, 96, of Rohrsburg, died Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Celebration Villa of Berwick, where she had been a resident for the past three years.
Born December 11, 1929 in Greenwood Township, she was a daughter of the late Ray A. and Myrtle M. (Rhone) Fausey. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. "Bill" Drabot, on December 1, 2002.
Eleanor was a graduate of Millville High School and had done domestic work in the area for most of her life.
She had been a long time and active member of Greenwood Christian Church. Her hobbies included traveling, reading, music, collecting World War II information and in her younger years, she enjoyed refinishing furniture.
Surviving are Nieces, Johannah (Gary) Naus and Kay Harmon; a Nephew, Eugene R. (Mary) Fausey; Great Nephew, Gary R. Naus, Jr.; Great Nieces: Kimberly J. Muir and Lisa Fausey; Great-Great nephews: Brock, Reade, and Chase Conner; Tyler Naus; Great-Great Niece, Kenzie Naus; Great-Great-Great Nephews: Clay and Brennan Conner.
Along with her parents and husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by
a sister, Eva M. Fausey; a brother, Eugene B. Fausey; and a Great Niece, Rachel S. Fausey.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 20, 2026 at 2 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487). Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery. A Visitation will be held Friday, February 20th from 1 PM until the time of the service at 2 at McMichael's. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Greenwood Christian Church or to a Veteran's organization of the donor's choice.
