Emma Helen (Themens) Beehner

Emma Helen (Themens) Beehner, 81, of Sugarloaf Township, died Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home.

Born September 16, 1942 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Austin and Emma (Redonet) Themens.  She and her husband, David E. Beehner, Sr., celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on April 23rd.

Mrs. Beehner attended South Philadelphia High School.  While she and her husband were living in Colorado, she was employed by a cancer clinic as a receptionist.

She was a member of Grace Independent Baptist Church in Wapwallopen.

In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by four children: Emma Lukens and her husband, Barry, of Perkasie; David E. Beehner, Jr. and his fiancée, Laurie, of West Chester; Cheryl Alderfer and her husband, Wally, of Green Lane; Carol Clymer and her husband, Scott, of Germansville.  Also surviving are 22 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and nine siblings.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the Family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Grace Independent Baptist Church, 1164 Blue Ridge Trail, Wapwallopen, PA 18660.
