Erma B. (Kishbaugh) Busch

Erma Bertelle (Kishbaugh) Busch passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025 at Glen Brook Nursing Center in Berwick. Erma was born October 7, 1932 and was the eldest of nine children. She was known to be full of fun and her brothers and sisters all looked up to her as second mom. She was raised on a farm in Southdale, PA by her late parents, Lester 'Boots' Kishbaugh and Beatrice (Wandall) Kishbaugh. Erma married her late husband, Carl G. Busch, in 1955.

Erma worked several years in local sewing factories. However, she was a stay-at-home mother for most of her life. Erma is survived by her two children, Nancy Marie McKenzie and Laura Jean Weaver (husband, Tim) and her four grandchildren, Paden A. Weaver (wife, Amber), Molly J. Weaver (husband, Scott "Dewey"), Brandon C. McKenzie and Kathleen L. McKenzie. Also, Erma is survived by her three great grandchildren, Adara, Edric and Thorin Weaver.

Surviving siblings are Gerald Kishbaugh (wife, Valeria), Lee Kishbaugh (wife, Nina), Ruth Ann Skovish (husband, Martin), Catherine Masters (husband, Dale), Donald Kishbaugh, and David Kishbaugh (wife, Anita). Erma is predeceased in death by siblings, Kenneth B. Kishbaugh and Bernard Kishbaugh.

There will be no viewing or services per Erma's wishes. Interment will be in the Dodson Cemetery, Southdale, PA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Dodson Cemetery Association, 474 Southdale Rd, Shickshinny, PA 18655.
