Frances A. (Zavada) Getz

Frances A. (Zavada) Getz, 73, of Bloomsburg, died Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Geisinger-Bloomsburg  Hospital.

Born May 27, 1950 in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Barbara (Wagner) Zavada.  

She was a graduate of Latrobe High School.  She worked as a bartender at the Benton V. F. W., the Berwick V.F. W.

Surviving are her husband, Clem Getz, of Bloomsburg; three children:  Chantelle Swieczkowski, of Webster, South Dakota; Andrew Swieczkowski and his girlfriend, Cheryl, of Vero Beach, Florida; Bryan Getz and his wife, Stacey, of Benton; five grandchildren:  Alexis, Kirstin, Michael, Beau and Bryce; five great grandchildren and a sister, Amy Thomas, of Ligonier, PA.  

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death  by two brothers and two sisters.
