Francis E. "Frank" Trzcinski

Francis E. "Frank" Trzcinski, 87, of Benton, husband of Mary T. (Vitale) Trzcinski, died Monday, November 28th, 2022 at his home.

Born July 2, 1935 in Plymouth, he was a son of the late Eugene Trzcinski and Cecelia (Suprumvitch) Trzcinski.  He and his wife, Mary T. (Vitale) Trzcinski, celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on September 29th.

Frank was a graduate of Pulaski Technical High School in New Jersey.  He was a nuclear engineer / quality assurance engineer for the Bechtel Corporation and had been employed by the Susquehanna Nuclear Power Plant near Berwick.  He was last employed by the Department of Energy in Richland, Washington.  He moved to Benton in 2002 from Richland, Washington. 

He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War.

 Frank was an active member of the Hamline Church Fellowship of Benton.

He was an accomplished musician, playing the accordion, piano and guitar and was a recording artist.  He was also a leather craftsman; enjoyed archery and hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary, are his two daughters:  Diana Antolic and her husband, Chad, of Lake Pinecrest; Linda Mazonkey and her husband, James, of Stillwater; a son, Gary Trzcinski, of Shickshinny; a step son, Thomas Petrella and his wife, Susan, of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren;  Kandace, Angel, Tommy and James; six great grandchildren:  Holden, Oakley, Frankie, Scottie, Sawyer and Jayden; two step grandchildren: Kara and Ryan Petrella, as well as two sisters:  Rosemary Brink, of Washington and Barbara Ann Surles, of Wilkes-Barre.

Services, along with Military Honors, will be held Friday, December 16th, 2022 at 11 AM at the Hamline Church Fellowship, Hamline Church Road,  with the Rev. Gary Jarrett, his Pastor, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Hamline Church Fellowship, P.O. Box 216, Benton, PA 17814.
