Franklin M. "Frank" Brocious, 92, of Sugarloaf Township, died early Saturday morning, March 26th, 2022 at his home.
Born June 19, 1929 in Ringtown, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Claude and Elnora Brocious.
Mr. Brocious was a graduate of Ringtown High School. He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal with one bronze campaign star.
He was employed as a printer during his working career. He worked for William Brothers in Philadelphia and later for Rider University, in New Jersey.
Frank was a member of the Benton Assembly of God Church.
An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking the woods.
Surviving, are his wife, Shirley M. (Spencer) Brocious; his five children: Gary Brocious and his wife, Mary; David Brocious and his wife, Melody; Marilyn Peterson; Roger Brocious and his wife, Melissa; Scott Brocious and his wife, Marissa; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Also surviving are his siblings: Danny, Ruth, Claudine, Gail and Janet.
A Celebration of Life Service and Military Honors will be conducted Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at 2 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, (State Route 487) Benton. Pastor Mark Shellenberger will officiate.
