Gary K. Fidler, 63, of Benton, died early Monday morning, January 20, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He had been in ill health for the past year.
Born October 13, 1956 in Long Beach, California, he was a son of the late Robert K. Fidler and Shirley (Mauger) Stinsky.
Gary was a 1974 graduate of Reading High School. He worked as a truck driver and had been employed by Swishers of Bloomsburg.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports.
Surviving, are his significant other, Sherry L. (Fink) Cole, of Benton; a daughter, Shannon J. Fidler, of Easton; a son, Gary K. Buchman, of Benton; a step son, Jarod L. Cole and his wife, Jocelyn, of Lightstreet; three granddaughters and a brother, Bobby Fidler and his wife, Mary, of Oley, PA.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Fidler.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton.
