Gregory "Greg" David Remley, Sr., 62, of Muncy, went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, January 2, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Born May 5, 1958 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was the son of the late Carl D. Remley, who died November 19, 2014 and Janice (Hess) Remley, who died June 9th, 1958.
Greg was a 1976 graduate of Benton High School.
He was a lifelong truck driver, driving for various local companies including Max Starr, Fraley's, Larry Whitmoyer, Con West and Key Trucking.
Greg enjoyed farming, tractors, tractor pulling, hunting and working on his truck. He also enjoyed playing games with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his four children: Greg Remley, Jr., and his wife, Crystal, of Benton; Heather Burgess and her husband, Shawn, of Picture Rocks; Heidi Remley and her boyfriend, Leland Bogert, of Benton; and Jaylee Remley of Anderson, SC. Also surviving are his companion, Karen Stoliker, of Muncy; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; two sisters: Anna Parks and Carla Emery; a brother, Paul Remley and his step mother, Betty Remley, all of Benton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 1 PM at the Waller Cemetery, Jackson Township. Pastor Scott Lyons, of the Stillwater Christian Church, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be graciously accepted by the family to help offset final expenses.
