Hazel M. (Martz) Robbins, 95, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died early Thursday morning, March 27, 2025 at her home.
Born February 21, 1930 in Hemlock Township, Buckhorn, she was the 7th of 13 children of Frank and Jean (Creveling) Martz. She and her husband, Dean A. Robbins, would have celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on June 19th.
Hazel was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School. She and her husband, Dean, owned and operated a large dairy farm, Robbins Farms, in Mt. Pleasant Township for many years. She had also worked in a dress shop, Dillons Floral and Magee Carpet Company.
Together they raised five children and are survived by them and their spouses. Randy Robbins and his wife, JoAnn; Andy Robbins and his wife Tammy; Tammy "Boz" Robbins and his wife, Sandy; Pammy Mosteller and her husband, David; Sammy Robbins and Darla Jacobs.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren: Jai, Bobbi Jo Zimmerman, Janice, Jason, Jeffrey, Jeremy and Joshua Mosteller, Frank and Eric;
12 great grandchildren: Mason and Sawyer Wyatt; Walker, Tyler, Summer Hazel Zimmerman; Zion and Carter Dean Robbins; Holden, Hudson, Oberon, Neverland, Fable, and HazelAnn Mosteller.
5 step great granddaughters: Mercury, Alaerial, Pandora, Verona and Legend; 2 great great grandchildren: Grayson Dean and Forest Wyatt.
Hazel leaves behind a family of friends at Lake Region Village, Florida where they lived the winter months for 23 years. They had also lived in Lancaster County, PA where she and her husband camped and worked with the Amish for four years.
Hazel has donated her body to science through the Humanity Gifts Registry.
No gifts or flowers, please. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 at 10 AM at the Mill Green United Methodist Church in Millville with a meal to follow the service. Please RSVP or text 570 854 9343 by July 15th if you are staying for the meal.
