Isabell (Bogart) Halterman Halderman, 98, died Friday evening, March 12, 2021 at the Bonham Nursing Center, Huntington Township.
Born April 28, 1922 in Orange Township, she was a daughter of the late Maynard M. Bogart, who died in 1989 and Louise A. (Parks) Bogart, who died 1997. She was preceded in death by her two husbands: Walter L. Halterman, Sr. who died May 25, 1988 and Joseph G. Halderman, Sr., who died July 11, 2011.
Mrs. Halderman was a graduate of Danville High School, Class of 1941.
She had been employed by the Bloomsburg A & P Supermarket for 11 years and five years at the Danville A & P Supermarket where she worked in the meat department.
Mrs. Halderman had been an active member of Stillwater Christian Church where she handled the fruit basket/visitation committee for many years.
In her younger years she bowled on a church league in Danville. She also enjoyed knitting and spending time with her extensive network of family members and friends.
Surviving are her two sons: Walter L. Halterman, Jr., and his wife, Betty Jean, of Charlotte, NC; Glenn E. Halterman and his wife, Deborah, of Benton; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Bogart and his wife, Betty, of Mesa, AZ; two sisters: Neva Klein, of Danville; Corriena Morrall, of Telford as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Hiram Bogart, who died in 1987; two sisters: Charlotte Barnhart, who died in 2009 and Mary Jean Anderson, who died in 2018.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at 11 A. M. at the Stillwater Christian Church with Pastors Jason Simpkins and Scott Lyons, officiating. Viewing, Monday, March 22nd, 2021 from 9 AM until the time of the Service at 11:00 at the Church. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Stillwater Christian Church Building Fund, 39 McMichael Street, Stillwater, PA 17878.
