James E. "Jim" Breisch, 76, of Madison Township, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born August 20, 1945 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Norman andCordelia (Probst) Breisch. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Nancy J. (Sponenberg) Breisch, who died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 19th at Geisinger.
Mr. Breisch owned and operated Breisch Construction, retiring in 2008.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and wood working. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Justin.
Surviving are his two daughters: Michelle M. Welkom and her husband, Christopher, of Bloomsburg; Jamie L. Breisch and her husband, Troy Sidesinger, of Red Lion; a grandson, Justin J. Welkom, of Bloomsburg; his brother, Kenneth Breisch, of Delaware and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by the following siblings: Linda Kesler, Robert Breisch, Helen Yutko, Duane Breisch, Norman Breisch and Pearl Bolinsky.
