Jebb T. Getz

Jebb T. Getz, 31, of Stillwater, succumbed to his long battle with addiction on Sunday, November 14th, 2021.

Born in Bloomsburg on December 20, 1989, he was the son of Walt A. Getz, of Stillwater and Melissa J. (Paul) Mike, of Berwick.

He attended Stillwater Christian Church in his younger years. 

As anyone with a loved one battling addiction knows, it didn't just rob Jebb  of his life, it also robbed us of a son, a brother, a grandson, an uncle, a nephew and a friend.

Jebb had a big heart and loved deeply and  fiercely.  He was not afraid to stand up for what he believed in and was a champion of the underdog.  He loved football, especially Michigan and Green Bay.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Rose Getz, on June 12, 2015 and by his paternal grandfather, David B. Getz, on February 11, 2016.

In addition to his parents, he is sadly remembered by his step father, Ben Mike and his sisters:  Emilie H. Getz, Kayla E. Getz, Cassie M. Getz, Erin G. Getz and  Natalie F. Getz. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Blanche (Roberts) Getz, of Benton; his maternal grandparents:  Larry and Judy (Schwartz) Paul, of Stillwater as well as one niece, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In the arms of an angel, may you find some comfort there.

Services will be held Friday, November 19th, 2021 at 4 PM at Stillwater Christian Church, 39 McMichael Street, Stillwater.  Friends and Relatives will be received from 3 PM until the time of the service on Friday at the Church.  Private burial will be in the St. James Cemetery, Fishing Creek Township.  The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Getz Family.
